"My brother and I engaged Austin Capital Estate Sales in May 2014 to organize and conduct an estate sale of my Mother's belongings. It was an emotionally challenging time for us was my mother has dementia and we had moved her a of months before to an assisted living facility. Putting the home up for sale meant going through all of her belongings and removing clutter in an effort to stage the house; we realized that this was too big a task for us and we decided to have professionals help us.

"My husband and I recently retired. We sold our home in Texas and moved to Florida. We had an estate sale managed by ACES, selling all of our belongings in the Texas home. Our experience with ACES was a very positive one.
Larry and Marietta were very friendly and easy to work with. They were genuinely concerned with making our move from Texas an easy one. They took charge of the sales process and communicated to us what we could expect to happen.

"My family hired Austin Capitol Estate Sales to handle my uncle's estate when he passed away unexpectedly and without any immediate family nearby to handle the estate. Only my older grandparents lived in town, and this job would have been far too much for them (or for us, for that matter!). They were very sensitive to the overwhelming nature of our situation, and took great care to take great care of us.
Marietta, Larry and Brandon came quickly after we contacted them for our free one hour estimate. They answered all of our questions thoroughly, as well as looking through the house and giving us an idea of what kinds of things we had to work with, and what we could expect from the sale. The house was a lot of work, to be sure, after 30 years of a bachelor living there, and they did an amazing job of cleaning the house (no small task!) for a modest additional fee (it required more cleaning than they generally include in their services), and then brought in plenty of shelves, racks, tools, and everything else they would need to create an environment that people would WANT to shop in. The items were pulled out, cleaned, researched, priced, and placed within two weeks for the sale. The amount of work they put into it was amazing, and did not stop there. They followed up with my dad promptly after the sale, deciding which unsold items should be returned to my family, which should be kept for future sales, and which should be discarded/donated. They happened to come by the house to finish/pick up a couple of things on a day after the sale when my dad had gone back to work on cleaning out the house. When they were finished with what they had come to do, they actually stayed for quite a while longer to help my dad with the work he had come to do! This meant a lot to me, since I live out of town and could not be there to help him myself.
